Director of Marketing and Sales

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Planning and executing marketing campaigns for all AE programming.
  • Creating marketing materials including lobby signage, posters, flyers, programs, annual season brochure, press kits, and photography.
  • Writing and disseminating publicity related press correspondence. Maintaining database and mailing list for theatre.
  • Maintain/update theatre website.
  • Organize and conduct season subscription campaign.
  • Manage Group Sales.
  • Attend all special events and represent Actor's Express knowledgeably and positively.
  • Ensure quality of theatre experience for all patrons.
  • Oversee marketing committee of Board of Directors.
  • Hire/manage marketing intern(s).
  • Work with the front of house staff a minimum of two performances/week.
Candidate must love the performing arts and have a passion for the cutting-edge theatre that Actor's Express produces.

Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of marketing/theatre administration experience, proficiency in HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Word, Excel, and Access database software, experience in graphic design software, art direction, extremely strong organizational skills, and interest in juggling multiple projects while working in a fast-paced environment. BA required.
