Libby Whittemore Sings the Hits of the 70s and Returns to the Stage in Company

ATLANTA, GA – May 10, 2016 – Atlanta cabaret legend Libby Whittemore closes out her seventh year of Libby’s at the Express with a salute to the 1970s. One of the most musically varied decades in recent history, Whittemore visited this era through song twice last season. Performances are June 23-26 at 7:30 PM. Libby Whittemore will mark her return to the stage as Joanne in the Actor’s Express’ Season 29 opener Company. Played by Broadway icons Elaine Stritch and Patti LuPone, Joanne is one of the Sondheim masterpiece’s most memorable characters singing the classic songs “The Ladies Who Lunch” and “The Little Things You Do Together.” Performances of Company are July 30 – September 4.
