Rent is Reimagined this Summer at Actor’s Express

ATLANTA, GA – MARCH 4, 2015 – Actor’s Express presents Jonathan Larson’s groundbreaking rock musical Rent July 10 – August 9, 2015. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Rent is reimagined in an immersive new production directed by Actor’s Express Artistic Director Freddie Ashley. “Rent was the soundtrack to my twenties,” says Ashley. “It is nearing 20 years old, and, even though it was written about a very specific time in history, it has never lost its relevance or edge. That is a rare thing, indeed, and the earmark of a true classic. I’m excited to reexplore.” Performances of Rent are Wednesdays through Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 2 PM and 8 PM, and Sundays at 2 PM. Tickets are $26-$45 and may be purchased online at or by calling 404.607.7469.
