John makes his Actor's Express debut with Oppenheimer For 17 seasons, he has appeared at the Georgia Shakespeare Festival including title roles in Richard III, Hamlet, Macbeth,Cyrano de Bergerac, as well as Salieri in Amadeus and Prospero in The Tempest. Most recently, he appeared as Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing at Theatre in the Square, as Nelson in Theatre Gael's Rat in the Skull, and as Macbeth in Macbeth at the Springer Opera House. He also had his original play, Life Goes On, a play in the style of a black and white silent film, presented at Theater Emory last spring. For the past nine seasons, he has continued to perform his one-man play, Booth, Brother Booth throughout the U.S., which has included an overseas appearance at the Globe Theatre in London. In May, his new play The Resurrectionists will be part of the new play reading series hosted by Theatre In The Square.
