Biography

JUAN CARLOS UNZUETA is a recent addition to the Atlanta theatre scene, having relocated from Jacksonville, FL after debuting in Aurora Theatre and Theatrical Outfit's In The Heights (Piragua Guy) last summer. Originally from Lake Wales, FL, Juan’s been performing, teaching, and directing in Northeast FL for the last 13 years. Notable credits include The Light in the Piazza (Fabrizio), Beauty and the Beast (LeFou), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), Pippin (Pippin), The 25^th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Mitch), Tick Tick BOOM! (Jonathan), and guest artist roles with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra and First Coast Opera.
