Kate Warner is Producer and Director having spent ten years with Theatrical Outfit, which will complete in Fall 2004 its 5.4 million capital campaign and to move into it's own 200 seat home, a renovated downtown Atlanta landmark. Kate is also an Artistic Associate of Dad's Garage where she will again curate 8.5 x 11, "New Works: Live and Uncensored" featuring Greg Kotis, Caridad Svich, Alice Tuan, Heather Woodbury and Steve Yockey.
Kate is a member and facilitator of the Lincoln Center Theatre Directors'Lab in New York, a member and panelist of the Directors Lab West in Los Angeles, and member of the Society for Stage Directors and Choreographers. Summer 2004, Kate completed the Executive Program Non-Profit Leaders in the Arts at Stanford Graduate School of Business and the New Artistic Leadership Institute with TCG/Dance USA at the McCarter Theatre. Kate is also an ordained Reverend in the Universal Life Church and a graduate of Kalamazoo College, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Kate's recent directing work includes Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical, Beehive, Waiting for Godot, West Side Story, The Island, The People vs. Mona, and Weird Comic Book Fantasy and curating the 2004 edition of 8.5 x
11, "Punk Rock Will Never Die" featuring Chay Yew and David J from Bauhaus.
Kate's upcoming projects include The Foreigner at Theatrical Outfit and Proof at American Stage Theatre.
